SUMMARY:Public Consultations OPEN - Sustainable Use Areas Management Plans
DESCRIPTION:The Ministry of Agriculture\, Climate Change and Environment (MACCE) invites the public to review and comment on draft Management Plans for three Sustainable Use Areas. \nWith support from the World Bank and SWIOFish3 project\, the Ministry of Agriculture\, Climate Change and Environment (MACCE) is overseeing the development of management plans for the Seychelles MSP Initiative Marine Protection Areas. Draft management plans for three areas are being developed by international and local consultants from C2O Fisheries. \nStakeholder consultations for three ‘Sustainable Use Areas’ Management Plans began in September 2022 and have led to the development of DRAFT management plans\, ready for stakeholder and public comments. This public consultation phase is seeking further stakeholder feedback through an online portal.
