With support from the SeyCCAT through the Oceans5 project, the Ministry of Agriculture, Climate Change and Environment (MACCE) is overseeing the development of management plans for the Seychelles MSP Initiative Marine Protection Areas.
The draft management plans for Denis Island Marine Sustainable Use Area is being developed by consultants from Bee Ecological Consulting.
Stakeholder consultations for the Denis Island Marine Sustainable Use Areas Management Plan began in June 2023 and have led to the development of the DRAFT management plan, ready for stakeholder and public comments. This public consultation phase is seeking further stakeholder feedback through an online portal.
Stakeholders and the public are invited to review and comment on the DRAFT management plan for this Marine Sustainable Use Area (Zone 2) from the Seychelles MSP Initiative.
